This project started with a real-world business jet design. I saw a livery on a BBJ2 with the main fuselage painted white but the hood and belly painted blue, which is the exact opposite of the widely-accepted livery designs. This made me wonder - what if I completely invert a standard livery of an airline?
Air Concordia is a virtual airline I set up back in 2019, with the standard livery design shown at the back of the image (a standard wave pattern on the lower side of the fuselage). I completely flipped the pattern around, with the colors on the top, leaving the lower wide and belly white. It immediately introduces a futuristic and pioneering atmosphere to the jet. To make the front of the jet less dark as if the plane wears a black hat, I changed the position of lighter and darker blue so the colors would look more balanced but keeping the main colors.
This design started with only a concept but went extremely well. I named the jet “Innovation of Concordia” and placed her in the airline fleet as a special livery ;D
