I started on Air Concordia project back in 2019. It started with an Airbus A350, then expanded to 737s and then some regional and some long-hauler. The more I look into aircraft designs for the past 5 years, however, the more I think the Air Concordia livery is more like a 2000s design instead of a 2020. Therefore, I figured it's time to renovate the airline's identity. So, here it is... Air Concordia's brand new logo and standard livery.
Although there appears to be some drastic change to livery and logo, they are still tributes to the original design I made 5 years ago. The logo was an attempt to match the style with my livery designs (simpler, more gradient) and to avoid the Concorde motif (which I've been trying to get rid of for ages), but the general shape stayed mostly the same, making it a more subtle transition. The livery removed the blue belly and changed to a more modern Eurowhite / Hindquarters design with a natural gradient of the Concordia blue, but the overall tailfin design was kept with the blue extending down from the tail, curving till the belly of the fuselage. The added gradient in front of the normal tailfin seeks to make the livery look more vivid and less empty.
I also gave the regional division a new name - Celeritas. It means "Speed" in Latin, which is the purpose of a regional division, and the "C" in Celeritas could reuse the same "C" in the Concordia logo, which makes the regional brand better incorporate into the main brand. I am also thinking of renovating the Cargo division with a similar livery, though that is still to be determined.
I created this livery at the beginning of 2024 - in late January - but I have never had the time to paint more jets into this livery, and it took me a while thinking through the rebrand of the regional division, hence why this post is released in March - even though the first image says "New Year, New Look". Still, I hope you like this livery, and I look forward to your comments and suggestions!
