Shanghai, Let’s Meet special livery

This is a livery I designed for Shanghai during the lockdown. Shout out to everyone who work days and nights to keep us safe!

The main livery stripes are taken from the standard Shanghai Airlines livery (there are weirdly two editions on the 737... I randomly took one of them), with the colors changed into the JC_Aviation Dual-blue design.

There is a huge "Shanghai" written on the left, and a Chinese "上海" written on the right. The word on the left, "Shanghai, let's meet. You and Me. Here and Now." is the slogan of China International Import Expo (CIIE), held annually in Shanghai, with its Chinese slogan right under it. On the right side it says "海纳百川,开明睿智,追求卓越,大气谦和", which can be roughly translated into "Acceptance, Openness, Pursuing excellence, and Humbleness", which is the slogan created by STV (Shanghai Television) for Shanghai.

On the tail, you see two designs: On the left being the Lujiazui, arguably the most developed and advanced area in Shanghai, demonstrating the development of Shanghai for the years came and years to come. While on the right side, you'll see an old infrastructure: the Jing'an Temple. The temple was built back in 247 AD, and was moved to the current position in 1216 AD. It still stands near the famous Nanjing Road in Shanghai, surrounded by glorious shopping mall and busy streets, silently telling the passer-by the ancient history of the old dynasties in China.
